Department of Higher Education (DHE) Under Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) inviting applications for nominations from India for the award of Commonwealth Scholarships & Fellowship Plan in United Kingdom tenable from September/ October 2014 for higher studies/research/specialized training in the subjects mentioned below in the United Kingdom. Up to Sixty five (65) nominations are to be sent to the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for final selection to be made by them. Out of these not more than twenty six (26) are for doctoral studies.
The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age as on 11.10.2013.
These scholarships will be awarded for studies leading to either: -
SIX MONTHS OF CLINICAL TRAINING (For MBBS, BDS, MS, MD degree holders only who have qualified as MBBS and BDS between 1st October, 2004 and 30th September, 2009.

One Year Taught Master's Courses or Equivalent Degree, Doctoral Degree of Up to 3 years Duration.

The last date for applying online is 6th October, 2013. However, hard copy of application along with supporting documents should reach the above-mentioned address by 11th October 2013 either by post or by hand.
